Welcome to my little piece of the World Wide Web.
I am Edith Jenkins. I am an LPN, retired. Now I just work at home and try to keep busy working on my computer.
I love doing genealogy, crocheting, gardening, playing my organ and keyboard and also pick guitar a little, doing crafts of all kinds, portrait painting, and a host of other things in my spare time.
My friends are wonderful and are always there to help me out when I need them. My husband,Charles, passed away July 24, 2003. We were married on October 19, 1949. We had 3 boys: Danny, Kenny, and Jay. We have 13 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. I love my family very much.
A new addition to my family is my chihuahua, Princess. She is my companion and helps me through the lonely days at home.
Every year in July my family gets together for our Family reunion near Galipolis, Ohio. This reunion is for the family of James and Nancy (Duty) Queen, who were my parents:
I also try to attend the Duty reunion, held every year in August near Huntington, West Virginia. This is my Mother's family:
During World War II, my brother James J. Queen was killed in the South Pacific on an island named Peleliu. We have set up a website so that we may never forget his supreme sacrafice for our freedom. Rest in peace Jim.
